As a 2017 ROAD KING SPECIAL Owner I Will start posting here as well instead of constantly creating a new Thread or adding Pics to an old thread.

Here is my RKS. Very simple mods so far. Just slip ons and LED turns and headlight, tribal mirrors and front axle covers. Deleted all the reflectors also. The windshield showed up today, just waiting for powder coater to finish the W/S brackets and the Saddlebag latches(why were they chrome?) Next mods are solo saddle and black flush fuel cap and gauge. All the specials are looking good! 👍🏻

 

Put a hold on a gray Road King Special last week, taking it out for a test ride this weekend now that the snow is gone. Hope to get all the paperwork squared away and pick it up soon.

Probably going to get a Stage II, rear docking hardware, daymaker headlight and the wrapped front fender before I take possession.

Took a ride on the King tonight. Loving this bike!

 

Some great looking bikes in this thread.

Sorry, but I can't see any resemblance of the new RK Special with this bike, its popped up in a few threads now, maybe I'm missing the point but to me it's like 'night & day'.

 

There's always somebody claiming to be the trend setter even if what they have has little resemblance to what they claim to have started.
