Few changes to make that a two up bike would help a lot.
You can hang a side car on anything if you really want.

Sidecar has never been an option. I did go from an RK to an Ultra for 2-up. The wife has back issues and can't sit long even on the Ultra.
Solution is I have the detachable TourPak and run Solo seat most of the time. Long trips the guys will go a day or 2 early and do the technical ride then the women will come in 1 or 2 cars, then we ride the scenic runs with them. On the way home they can ride in cars or on back and change at any rest or fuel stop.

Sidecar with an adjustable tablet mount will allow you to ride and she can text like hell out on the open road.
Win win!!
Or a big cushy seat for Her, and a set of HD Passenger Adjustable Foot Boards. Then you can ride while She can text like hell on Her phone.

Default ARK Encounter here we come...

My wife takes a yearly trip with me. Adding 2014 Saddlebags and 2014 Tour-Pak to my 2009 Street Glide was the answer.

My wife told me a month after I bought an 04 night train that if I had one of those (pointing to a tour pack on ultra) that she would be comfortable enough to want to ride. 2 years later bought a road glide with tour pack.

We have a saying - If Momma's happy, everybody's happy.
My wife says it's like sitting back in a recliner. I moved mine back 1" for extra room and disabled the passenger controls on the sound system.

Tried like hell to make mine comfortable for the old girl she's 6'1" 36" inseam I moved the tour pack back 3" and dropped the floor boards to the lowest setting now she says the back pad is too low. Now I ride solo and it's fine the only one I have to worry about is me. So all I'm saying is you can only do so much if she doesn't want to ride you can't make her.

I like to have a side car with a pull pin to separate the car from the bike, so if she starts to give me any grief, well you know.

My wife doesn't like to take the day long 'runs to no where' but she will do a weekender a couple of times a year. So, I run a Corbin solo for myself and then when she is going with me I drive the bike inside a phone booth. When it comes out it's wearing a back rest, a Sundowner seat with a gel butt pad, a windshield, and saddlebags.

Last year 4 couples went on a week long vacation. The women drove and the men rode. Best bike vacation ever, for both groups.
