I will have to stand corrected. Copied this from dictionary.com "a sudden bursting or rupture of an automobile tire. "
I was always taught that a blowout was the tube blowing its way through a hole in the tire and expanding/exploding. Just goes to show that even at 64 years old, you are still not too old to learn.......
BTW, even knowing this, I STILL refuse to ride on a tire with a tube.......
