Love Jugs cooling fan or Add on Oil Cooler

Was looking at options to helping reduce the heat on my 14' RK. Any thoughts on going the Love Jug route or a add on oil cooling system like the ones from DK Customs? I'm new to the HD family, all my other bikes have been metric water cooled bikes so any guidance would be appreciated. I have added the HD fork "fangs" and can tell a difference in the higher amount of heat on the right side. I hate to give up the wind protection but they may need to come off unless I can get the heat down.
Thanks

Depending on the mood of the masses here, your BEST bet might be to log off, and never log back in under that screen name again. Create a new account and search around the forum for the multitude of times this has been discussed. Or hang on tight, the ride may get bumpy. :- D

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

since your bike already has an oil cooler, that option is out... what are you looking to accomplish? maybe getting rid of your catalytic converter will make more sense? are you complaining about the heat on your legs or the oil temp? love jugs are for slow riding not highway riding, and blow the engine heat on your leg, but cool the oil...

I don't run the fangs in the summer. Have a windsplitter shield that helps. Sunday test ride a new limited that had a klock works shield and that was perfect for having no buffeting. I also only run the seat guard on the right side, did this per dk custom site. Check it out they have tips for keeping twin cam cooler. You can decide how far u want to take it. I also have head coolers and oil cooler, my bike had none when I got it.

I have a set of the Wards fans on my bike. Love Jugs calls them the Mighty Mites. http://love-jugs.com/new-mighty-mite/

I am very happy with how the fans work. I never have my bike go into EITMS now.

I don't bother reading any of his books.

As I don't know what my oil temp is I guess I'm just complaining about the heat on my leg.

Well, I have tried using the search function just haven't had much luck with it, maybe just user error. Just asking questions because I'm looking for answers. Thanks for your help
