Default Engine Cooling Fans

Well I installed the master coolers from love-jugs, they worked great, however a little too much bling for my taste, so I went ahead and ordered the mighty-minis, put those on, they work great, cannot tell any more or less, so I'm a happy biker, and the look is more my style. Steve at love jugs was great with sending the others back, I told him no worries I'll have no problem selling the masters to a friend. I put over 500 miles on bike this past couple days, temps were lows of 89 degrees to highs of 117 degrees, speeds were 25 mph to 90 mph. Every time I stopped I took out my heat laser gun, engine never rose above 250 degrees, oil temp never above 228. My bike is an '07 Streetglide, with Harley oil cooler,(no fans) a DK custom 1 inch tank lift, Stage 1, K-N air filter, Rineheart exhaust, and dyno tuned. The motor has never been opened, 58,ooo miles, love my bike. P.S. Friends I've ridden with, their engines were 300 plus degrees, with oil cooler and no love-jugs , thanks, RIDE SAFE.

Looking good for sure. In your pics looks like the fans blow air on the upper part of the heads. I thought in other posts people said the air is blown through feeling the heat on opposite side.

Does it suck the hot air OFF the Jugs or blow "cooler" air ONTO the Jugs?

It blows air onto the jugs, and that keeps the fins cool like if your going down the road at 50 mph, which also helps keep your oil cooler, I'm not a wrench, but riding my whole life, all I can say is they work. My bikes happy and so am I, check them out at love-jugs.com, PS tell them freeway frank sent you, be safe.

no,it blows air on your cylinder fins, which is great in slow or stopped traffic,i shut mine off if speeds are 50mph plus,or you can keep them on,your preference, great prouduct, I'm not affiliated in any way with love jugs, just like the prouduct and think there a great invention and look good too.

We really don't need them here in NE Ohio, but with the blazing heat you have in Arizona I'm sure they really do the job. Nice looking ride Frank!!

I have the same fans and they do blow through. At a stop light I move my right leg back about a foot. You can feel the extra heat when they are on.

I've had Love Jugs on my 2010 103 Limited for about four years now. I like now they plugged right into the bike's aux connector and work off the aux switch.

Treating engine temperature with fans and little wings etc., pushing air through the fins can exit on the rider. I try to allow more cool air to blow on me and if I thought the engine was running hot, which mine doesn't, I'd be looking at more oil cooling.
