Hard Bag Rattle
Anyone have any experience with solving the dreaded rattle of the hard bags? Mine like to rattle at the lever. Only way I've been able to stop it is to lock em up.

I think you may be able to adjust them.

I wondered if you could, but the service manual is no help. Anyone out there done an adjustment?

Louder pipes will take the rattle right out of it.
Sorry can`t help but could not resist.

I think there are two little tabs that you can bend that will hold the latch tighter.

I got a rattle too but I never emptied the bag to see if it was something inside. Have you tried that? And I believe there is an adjustment. Search the posts.

The ones on either side of the latch with the rubber ends on em? Which way do I bend em? In or out?

I put billet latches on mine - solved the problem. Also replaced the Dzus fasteners with bolts and “c” clips to keep ‘em from being ripped-off [8D]

I have a slight rattle on the right side but it appears to be coming from my muffler.
