Default Vented Backrest?

I in the process of trying to modify my backrest. Whenever I use it for a period if time I have a large wet spot on the back of my shirt. Does anyone have a solution for this problem or is it just me?? Mesh cover/ cloth rather than vinyl ?? thanks Dan

I want to buy one, when the wife lifts the ban on new parts. [:@]Never thought about it. But I can see how this could make the backrest uncomfortable after a few hours of riding. Let us know what you figure out.

AC not an option on your model?

I'm wondering if a cloth cover might slow the perspiration a bit?

It's seems to me that I sweat less on a cloth seat (GoldWing)and back rest than I do on the leather..errrr vinyl HD seat.

Worse case senerio...remove the back rest....problem solved.

I recall seeing a oval donut looking backrest, aftermarket?. Something made of breathable material would be ideal.
