Went for a HOG group dinner ride to "the Catch" fish and chip shop, newly opened in Braddon, Canberra.

On the way home I had one of those magic moments of riding. I was gently cruising relatively empty streets on the way back home after dinner.

The thing was , I could feel myself passing through cooler spots of air on the way - it had been a hot day and now the sun was setting and it was cooling down. Those cool patches of air were just magical in feeling...

 

Sounds like a great trek - ride-on!

 

I hope their fish-n-chips were better than the ones we had in Victoria earlier this year! Amazing how such simple food can be so different across the World....

When I lived outside of Phoenix, you could really feel those cool down areas in the early evenings. It's a great feeling for sure.

When I first met my wife and she started riding with me I told her about those magical "cold" patches...she thought I was crazy...until we rode through one! She was amazed. Also with this theme...I told her that rain can actually HURT!
LoL...well she didn't believe that one either....until...well you guessed it!

 

I felt that taking the trash out this morning:

 

Always enjoy passing through those cool pockets of air. Reminds one of how much different it is riding vs being in a cage. All part of the experience!

 

Those moments are what I'm continually in search of, and they're few and far in between. Good on you, Clack!
