Default J&S Jack- Horrible Quality Control

I bought a J&S Jack on the Black Friday sale. I received it 3 weeks later minus the T handle. A T handle showed up a couple weeks later but the handle won't fit into the receiver. J&S was very nice and it immediately sent me out another receiver, I have not received it yet, but it should be here next week. Strike one.
This morning I went out to use my Jack and bottle jack leaked it's fluid all over my garage floor from the pump seal, not from the fill plug. Strike two.

Here is the email I sent this morning and some pictures:

Good morning,

My bottle jack spilled it's fluid out this morning from the seal around the pumping arm, not the plug. See attached photos.

I have to say that while I love the product the quality control has been horrible. I've only had this jack since late December and only used it twice.

The T- handle doesn't fit (yes, there is a new bracket on the way and I thank you but really, that shouldn't have happened), there is chipped powder coat on one of the tie downs, and now the bottle jack has failed.

I know I am not to only one having issues with your product. You're selling a premium product, at a very premium price. I expected more and I know the riding community you serve expects more as well.

Please contact me as soon as possible with a solution.

Default Wow

i had always heard J & S was a great company. I had a pit bull and used it for several years until I sold it. Was thinking about a J&S. This sure gives one pause.
Be interested to know how they respond and make this right for you

Yeah, I think they need to take a step back and evaluate their suppliers and processes

That makes me appreciate my cheap Sears jack even more. I had thought about "upgrading" to a J&S and I still might, but damn that sucks. I'm sure they will make it right.

First negative thing I've heard about their stuff. No company is going to have a 100% happy customer base, but I'm sure they will fix it with you asap.. Probably just a fluke man..

I use the Sears yellow aluminum jack and it works great on my Ultra, never had any issue or concern with it over the past 10 years.

Sounds like you were the chosen one to get a bad jack. Give them a chance to make it right and any good company will. Mine has worked flawlessly

I've used a J&S jack for 10+ years with zero issues. Good luck with getting yours swapped.
