is there a gauge that actually measures fuel flow? one that says you have used 3 gallons so you know you have 3 gallons left on a 6 gallon tank

Sorry for the crappy screen shot. The only thing I could find was a video that wasn't in english. But you can see that fuel used is one of the gauge options you can set up if you have a Powervision and you've mounted it permanently on your bike.

I don’t know about that, but mine tells me how many miles I have left before the tank is empty.

For the OP, I realize you are new here, I'm going to give a pointer. First welcome to the forums. When starting a thread condense the question, i.e. "how to measure fuel consumption" and place your question or concern in the block where you stated what kind of ride it affects. Just trying to help you along here.

my first time ever on a blog.. just looking for a unit that when gas goes through it / a flow measurement gauge.. it tells you that you used 1.6 1.7 1.8 etc... I'm not looking for a level measurement gauge. all those are in accurate. the gauge I am hoping to find can be reset after every fill up basically like a gas station pump it measures how much it dispenses, this would measure how much to the cup, pint, quart.

May I ask why you need such precise measurements?

OP,

Do you use a Police Certified Speedometer and have laser adjusted headlights?

I'm sorry just wanted to throw in some forum sarcasm... you'll get use to it! LOL
