Default seat fit???

I have a question for all you Road King Classic owners out there. i love my new RKclassic but there is one thing that really bothers me, that is the way the seat fits up to the gas tank and the chrome nacel that comes down to the bottom of the tank. maybe it is just my bike but there is a gap between the seat and tank and you can see the wires that come from the speedo. does anyone have any ideas on what can be done besides buying an after market seat? i bought another RKclassic touring seat and the gap is still there. to me this is really ugly, this is not the case on any of the other RK models or the EG, SG, RG models.

Famous flaw the seat gap, road glides have it too. One thing I did to close it up some and if you dont have saddle bag gaurd rails it will help you too. The seats are designed to rest in the middle on top of the bolt heads that hold on the bag gaurd rails that the classics and ultras and others have. I just put bolts with a thick washer in the holes so the seat would not sag down so low since it just had empty holes there, it helped to close the gap some.

I really don't remember. I've had a Mustang Solo for a while now and it's a good fit, Nothing visible below it.
