What the others said. It’s your bike. Who cares what others think. Looks like a nice setup. Ride it like ya stole it!

What does the Jedi Council have to say?
Take a look at my garage or my ID pic to see what it looks like day to day.
Is that the adjustable mount I've seen out there? Where you can slide it all the way back to fit a passenger too? Beautiful bike BTW.

The setup looks good and I would think would provide excellent back support.
No different than having your lady on there first when saddling up. You still lift your leg over and not swing it over on these touring bikes.
It does give a nice support and in a few different positions to mix it up on the long hauls. We are going to ride tank to tank 800 miles a day for the first 2 days to get there and take our time coming back so I am glad I did this set up for this ride. Good thing is, it comes off in minutes.

haha! I’ll get it painted one dave...... and I’ve considered that setup but when I’m travelling solo I usually remove the pak and run a duffel on the solo rack. For bigger solo trips its nice to have the tour pack and room for a duffel on the passenger seat. But nothin wrong with the looks of the pak slid up

If it works for you who cares. Looks like a good setup to me.

Enjoy the ride.
