07 Electra glide brake fluid dot 4 or 5?
Replacing my rear tire and brake pads gonna drain and flush rear master cylinder. HD manual says 4 reservoir says 5! Who do I believe???

sounds like someone put the wrong cap on your reservoir.....my 05 E glide was dot 4.

Spoon test. Take a plastic spoon full out of the reservoir, then add a drop of what you think it is. If they mix they are the same.

Someone has changed your cap. This is off my 07 and I've owned it since new. Just flushed mine and refilled with DOT 4

DOT 4 is what is in the Service Manual.

If it is DOT5 it starts out blue/violet when fresh out of the bottle, but turns yellow over time. So the suggested spoon test above has a backup check!

My 07 Ultra has DOT 4 on both caps.
