I think it's age related. 25 years ago It used to be cams, stage 2 and exhaust.
Now it's more light, better seat with drive backrest, and drink holder. l
over 40 lights on the back. most are vintage bullets with glass lenses. i have 4 more waiting for mounting and wiring.

Wards fans with Powerwerks Aps-12 timer relay. Almost all my riding is at low speeds and hot starts are never an issue even with the original compensator on my 09 King.
So far I only added highway pegs and a backrest but the pegs are the most important since I felt cramped on the bike! I don't know how tall guys ride these, I'm only 5'11"

I think I'm done spending on mine for a spell. While I've never been too concerned about recouping anything spent to make mine the way I want it, the current market for used motorbikes
is so discouraging.

considering I am the 2nd owner, my answer is, ME.
The previous owner did engine upgrades and other dodads, I have changed bars and seat which I love but this thing was one of my favorite harleys ever built so the fact that I have it is the best.
On my 17 Road King it would be #1 Custom Dynamics signal and tail lights #2 Sunpie LED headlights #3 the Kuryakan lowered brake pedal and the 4th being hyw pegs.
