Default Anybody pay to have their Forks swapped?

I want to have my Forks powder coated black, has anyone paid to have their forks taken off and put back on?

If so what is the going rate? My garage is full for the winter so I dont want to wait until spring when I can empty out the garage, wifey does not like parking outside in the snow :-( ... so I have everything stacked (not the pick below) so she can pull into the garage, if i wait until Spring, then I can do it myself

According to HD Job times, I see:
1. Replace fork side, both sides = 1.5 hours

I don't have the time or energy for such things so my Indy takes care of it. I did the core swap with http://www.willyshiny.com and had my Indy take care of it. No idea what he charged as I usually have a number of changes going on. But I can say that ***** shiny is a top notch place to get them done and I had this bike done in black.

I interpreted that to mean removal and installation is 1-1/2 hours total for both sides.

I think I will do this myself, I have watched a bunch of videos, I own a manual, so this will be a spring project,

AND Yes, I will get the ***** Shiny parts, thank you for that recommendation as well.

Before I got my first HD, I have built several Corvette and other engines, and I'm a machinist . M.E. by trade so with the money i save i can buy the Progressive Mono tube suspension kit

Local Indie recently did mine and it was right at 2.5 hours. Great local guy. Final tally was just over $200. WillyShiny is the way to go - very good service and great quality.

I didn’t have the lift or area to accomplish the work myself.
