Personally, I would trim it off carefully at the edges, ride it, and monitor it.
Any further damage shows up, then I would replace it.
How is the rest of the alignment? Is it rubbing hard on something on that side?
Just throwing this out: $$ to replace the belt now compared to $$$ if you break down on the road, (towing, replacing the belt, Down time if out of town, etc) you get the idea.
Thanks for the info everyone, reason I ask is I don’t know how durable these are with this damage, this is my first belt drive as all I’ve ever had is chain so glad I asked.
Also check the rear sprocket to make sure the hardness isn't compromised or wearing off. Once it's gone or nearly gone it'll cause premature wear on the new belt.
