Sena 10s vs 20s and the HD WHIMS ??
I have the HD WHIMS installed on my FLHCS and have it paired to and operating fine with my Sena 10S headset.
i know that the 20S (HD Branded) is supposed to give stereo sound vs the 10S giving mono, but in trying to decide whether or not to upgrade to the 20S, I wonder if folks have performance feedback they could offer to help me round out my decision tree?
TIA

Thx for that. The operational difference between the 2 units lies in the interface with the WHIMS. I suspect you are connecting directly to your phone. If you connect to the WHIMS so that you can have full functionality with the bike, no Sena operates as seamlessly and provides maximum functionality as the Sena 20s that's branded to HD. I'm hoping to hear from someone who can tell me about what full functionality with the bike means....Siri? phone advantages? I know stereo with 20s and not the 10s, but can't decide if the advantages of the 20S are worth the upgrade.
Sorry I couldn't help out more. I know nothing of the WHIMS system, nothing on my bike's audio system is Harley. I use the 20S to connect to both the head unit and to the phone. Now that the GF is riding her own Road King, she also has the 20S. I just didn't like the idea of using sticky tape to mount the microphone boom to the helmet. Another plus, if/when it gets moved to another helmet, there will be no fussing with double sided sticky tape.
