nice work on the bike....all three of my boys are mechanical engineers an they can barely put gas in their cars.
I have class with a lot of people that seem to be the same way. I'm hoping with my mechanical background I'll be more of the practical engineer. I'm not the best student lol.

Palm trees are very common here in Coastal North Carolina (I live about 8 miles as the crow flies from the beach.) The ones in those pictures are actually "Pindo" Palms I think. 2 of them have holes where they are rotted all the way through, but somehow they are still green and produce fruit!
Nice work Baggah ,the PO must be proud. She's lookin sweet.Enjoy that King !
Thanks!

I feel like the bike has a little better response, and is smoother at part throttle crusing. I’m still playing with the amount of disks in the supertrapp muffler.
Baggah and Baggah2, that's pretty cool. A very cool gift that is providing you and your Dad some great times together ! Hope the handlebars work out, I like how you just make parts fit. I recently got a 2000 RK carb'd and love it, thanks for sharing your project !
I wondered if 2 into 1 from an 09+ would fit older bikes. D&D has different part numbers for 09+ Bassani shows one for 95+.
That's what got me curious as well. Some companies had conflicting fitment information on their exhausts. Clearly it's just a matter of bracketry on this particular exhaust. Although the frames are different between the two bikes, almost everything I read online said this wouldn't even be close to fitting. I'd like to find a 2009+ pro pipe to retrofit. I like the way that exhaust sounds and performs. I'll need to be careful with that though, since the transmission dipsticks are in different locations on factory 6 speed bikes. I guess the only negative about this exhaust on an older bike is that you need to remove the rear heat shield to check the transmission fluid level. It has a fancy harley cap instead of the stock transmission dipstick plug, so I plan on swapping to that.

Thanks. I'm pretty confident in the handlebars. I found a drag specialties master cylinder that is designed to work with 1.25" handlebars, and has the correct fitment for touring bikes.
