Chain tensioner shoe for sure. Mine was just changed by indie while replacing shifter shaft seal. I had 40XXX and it had some fairly deep grooves in it. Five dollar part. Might take a look at that shifter shaft seal as well. Cheap fix now vs complete tear down again to access it later. It is on the back side of your inner primary with no other way to access.

Yes, If the funds are available change the primary tensioner, if you still have the stock auto tensioner in there. Baker makes a good one, Hayden makes a good one.

Baker Attitude Adjuster is one of the best thing i've done to my bike. My last 2 bikes i've installed them and quit worrying about the damn chain running to tight. Better shifting and a quieter primary. And yes , just like everything Baker makes it's alittle pricey, but a quality part.

How many miles are on the bike? Primary chain and clutch are wear items as well.

If I was going to have the Inner Primary off I would definitely change the Inner Primary Bearing, Inner Primary bearing seal and the shift shaft seal.

will he have easy access to these in changing comp and stator ? or will it add a sh*t ton more labor
plan so far is comp, stator, and hayden chain tensioner but i'm all for preventative maintenance if these are easily accessable with the work already being done
