Default Stereo issues on 2016 roadglide ultra

Does anyone know what would cause the volume on the radio to go in and out all the time? I’ll be riding down the road and my reception is good, but the volume will go up and down constantly. Any ideas?

Navigation voice prompts if Navigation has an active route.

check your audio configuration, it is possible that you have nav or comm prompt on headset while music is on speakers. Even if you don’t use a headset the system will turn down music when nav prompt or phone calls are received

The volume settings on each function is separate. The radio/music volume is unrelated to nav, phone or comm volume.

If listening to the radio and you get a phone call, with ring volume turned low/off, it will interrupt the radio without sound. Same goes for a nav route running in the background. If the volume for nav prompts are low/off, the silent prompt will interrupt the radio.

Check all of the volume settings individually and see where you land.

I just bought mine yesterday.
Having the same issue. Audio is fine until you start rolling down the road.
Doesn't matter if you're using Bluetooth or FM.
I am wondering if it's related to the speed sensor

Check the Vox setting for the intercom. Or to test it, turn the intercom off.

Mine will typically cut in and out when i get emails and texts too. Maybe turn off bluetooth on the phone and see if it still happens?

True.... mine did the same thing (2019 RG).... I had my nav route volume (the lady that talks to you) muted or turned way down so every time she had something to say my speakers would cut out - I wouldn't hear her voice, but my tunes muted never the less. Turn that Nav route notification off and the problem will go away.

Edit - If you don't have an active nav route set all will be good... you will never hear the interuption.... it's not until you set a nav route that she will start barking out directions and muting your tunes.
