2001 Road King Classic Replacement SS Spokes
My wheel spokes on my Road King are looking tired so I'm thinking about replacing them. This is happening along with getting new rotors and braided brake lines. I'm not sure if the stock RK Classic spokes are stainless or not, but the nipples are the part that is looking corroded. I thought the stock spokes were stainless, no? In any event, I want to end up with stainless spokes and nipples, question is how best to do this and where can I get it done. Should I have my existing wheels re-laced with stainless or buy a new wheel with SS spokes/nipples? I know Buchanan's is the place to get SS spokes, but anyone know of someone who can lace them in the Atlanta area? If I go with new SS spoked wheels, anyone know where I can get them online at a reasonable price? Maybe get them with new tires/rotors mounted as well?
