I have mine on a lift all winter as well. The first year I had a hell of a time getting it out. Now I use my jack to raise the front enough to remove pin and the back so I can just roll it back. No issues.

I just ponied up and bought a Wheeldock chock, my Road Glide Ultra rolls in effortlessly, the chock is about 1/8th of an inch off the floor of the garage. The front wheel doesn't rollover a pivot point to get locked in and is super easy to back out. I also have a Baxley unit I've had for years that I use for my Dynas. They weigh just over 600 lbs. Tried putting the RGU in the Baxley and the wife was my reverse gear, the Baxley is a good unit but I found a better mousetrap with the Wheeldock.

I bolted mine to a 10 foot, 2x12. That way it can't slip on the floor, as the bike weight holds the chock and board in place. Definitely use two straps. I replaced the cross leg bolts with bolt eyelets. with a strap on each side to the frame under the neck. I have two soft straps on the frame, and I leave them on 24/7.

I bought the same Harbor Freight stand. Found it difficult to get the bike out of the rocker, even when it was in the last hole. I cut the rocker and added about 3//4" down the middle so it was a little wider and fit the road king front tire much better. Now it's very easy to load and unload the bike. I added some nonslip tape to the bottom of the frame so it won't slip on the garage floor.

So you made the rocker 3/4” wider? I’m thinking about redrilling the rocker pin holes as low as possible to help with the “hump” you have to over come. Any other tips?

I second the comments from seniorsuperglidee8 (above) on a Wheeldock chock. I tried a couple of HF wheel chocks. Too difficult to roll the bike back off the chock for meso I took them back for store credit (bought some other stuff). Bought a Wheeldock chock and love it.

Got a lift earlier for under 200. How do y’all strap y’all roadglides down. The only place I can see is on the crash bar inside of the fairing braces. But I don’t like the idea of it pulling on that. Right now I just have it around crash bars.

I go over the fender mounting bracket, using a micro fiber towel to protect everything. doesn't put pressure on the cutting edge front shox
