Default Recommend lift table for Roadglide

First a little back story. I purchased a HF lift table second hand for a little under let’s say 200$. Works great. Looked down and saw fluid under jack. It’s leaking but still works. I’m going to take apart and see if I can get away with replacing an oring. Bike is in air and safety bar in for now while I Powdercoat. I want to get a new lift that’s air operated. And then have this one as a side project. Any recommendations? Free shipping? Dealers in Houston? Don’t want to break bank.

There are many good lifts out there. All of them are probably better for bike bigger than 700lbs than the HF one. Hardy is especially good. Search the internet and see what you come up with. Discount Ramps has a package deal that is a good value. The one with the 1500lbs rating and shop kit is my next addition to the garage. Be patient and some techs that use these everyday while probably post something more.

Yes. Like I said the bike is locked in for now so I can get some work done. But in a couple weeks when it comes off I’ll be looking for a new lift. Then I can take my time and possibly rebuild this one on the cheap. Or donate it to someone that will take the time to convert to air. I just don’t want to dump more money into it.

Looking at DiscountRamps black widow. 1000lb Pneumatic lift. 659.99 flash sale get 15% off. Good reviews. There’s also a 1000lb hydraulic lift. 489.99. Looks like a harbor freight lift just painted black. Is that the case? Or is it the real version and harbor freight is the copy.

I feel your pain!!!! Went through the same exact issue. I purchased a lift from Greg Smith Equipment. They were close enough to me to avoid paying the shipping cost.
I bought a 1000lb air lift with side extensions and roller drop out panel for $995.00. So far works like a champ lifting my 15RG. They have a location in Texas.
Check them out.

After I looked and looked, I've come up with that a lot of these lifts are the same, just painted differently or a different feature, but the basic lift itself are the same.
Which ever lift you buy, you will not regret it. No more pump, pump, pump hoping it will go up. As a side note I did find a company that sells what looks like the exact same jack for the HF unit, or a air/hydraulic conversion too. Both did not sway me to fix the HF table. I've had 2 HF tables over a 13 year period both were slightly used when I purchased. Never again!!

The stability of the new table far out-ways even a free HF table! And with the side extensions I can drive on with ease, washing is a breeze!

Default Be Patient

Look around for a good condition high quality table. My best is a Handy electric because I can pick any height but they have problems with the switch. Air or hydraulic is second best because they can fail while going down. I thought BS until I saw a bike come down without straps holding the bike, the table hit the floor than the bike came out of the vice and landed on it's side. Not my bike or table. Always strap your bike. Expect to pay $300+ for an air & $500 for a Handy electric. Good luck looking as a big price of a table is shipping. Used, it is local and if you wait a good price. Creigs list or small town shopper paper.
