Best way to Lower a '19 RK
I have been reading several articles about lowering touring models. I'd like to lower my RK about an 1" or so. I'm just concerned about problems that may come about with shock angle and such. Can someone recommend the best way to lower the bike. I understand a shock swap, but are there other ways or is there and adapter that adjust the hight without changing the shock angle.

Are you lowering for looks or to get flat footed? For every mod you will see pros and cons. As far as lowering kits you will see people talk about angles and what not but you will see more popek say they have ran theirs for years with no problems. There is a rism/reward/price advantage for everything. If you need to be flat footed consider a seat mod

If you already have the HD premium shocks, these bad boys are the cheapest way to drop an inch. $50 shipped to you from me. I went with the 2nd cheapest way and got some 12" shocks. Those will run you about $200 + As long as you and your ol lady don't weight 500 lbs or more, dropping an inch with these blocks won't hurt your ride any noticeable way.

I have a 2018 ultra classic and I wanted it lower because of footing. I put a pair of Covington Customs lowering blocks on it and it dropped about an inch.
I then took my seat off and took the cover off of it and used an electric knife to cut the nose to make it narrower. I only cut the foam, not the pan. It made such a difference I am considering taking the lowering blocks off to see how it feels back at stock height.
I figured if I screwed up my seat I would get another one.
I highly recommend a seat mod to get you where you want. It makes a huge difference.
