Default Road Glide Fairing

Does anyone have a fix for the pain in the a@# plastic stripping that comes loose and splits on the fairing edge ?
Any afteramrket stuff available

ShoeGoo, E6000, contact cement or something like that..... Tape it in place and let it dry good & you should be set. They all do it & it is worse when it's hot out.

I tried black rtv but it didn't last. That stuff is not really a glue I found out I think I will try the shoe goo its work on my boots before.

3m weather stripping glue ( Yellow or Black ), lightly coat rubber strip and fairing where it goes ( remember a little goes a long way )let dry 5 or 10 min. then a few dots or light coat on rubber strip of it in the problem areas stick parts together, tape rubber and fairing together for about 30 mins remove tape and you should never have a problem again. hope this helps

I used a product by Loc-Tite I got at Wally World.. aka Walmart. In the hardware dept. It's a silicone type and for use on aquariums, high temp applications etc. So far so good and it's been well over a month and the bike is in 90+ temps all day at work.
