Usb stick
You're welcome. I'm putting the thumb drive that I've been using in the mail today during my lunch break … I know it works. I'll mail first class so you should receive it by Monday possible. Please let me know when it arrives. Hope you like a variety of music … mostly old rock and roll.

If it won't play on the bike or truck, but it will play on a computer...you probably have it saved as data...most car type players won't recognize it
for what it is worth, there are websites like youtubemp3free.org that allow you to convert youtube videos into mp3 files for free. So you can find your music you want by going to youtube and once you find what you want, copy the URL and then paste said URL into the search bar on the youtubemp3free.org website and then click convert now. It will automatically make it an mp3 file which from there you can put on a thumb drive or do whatever you please with it.
you can do single songs, whole albums, whatever you want really. And there really isn't a whole lot you can't find on youtube unless it is some obscure local band type stuff.

I'm going to say it is the size of the stick itself. 128 Gb is hugh and unless you have like 1 million songs you won't need that much of storage. I have like 300 songs on my 16 Gb stick and it works fine in my Chevy Avalanche, Aquatics radio and computer.
When I was installing dash cams I found that many devices are limited to the size of memory sticks it can read. ALSO folders are troublesome on some radios.
I simply buy my music on Amazon, download to my computer and burn as many times as I like to CD's or memory sticks.

Just my experience with HK radios and upgrading the firmware etc... That could come into play.
How about folders? Are the radios able to utilize folder?
If you are not sure what file format the files are, insert into your computer, find the device in File Explorer on computer, open the folder for the stick and highlight a music file. Right click and slide down to properties. When you select it you will be able to see what file format the music file is.
