I went to a 107 with head work and the 570-2 cam with 10.25.1 compression got 101hp 118 tq.

Any chance that you may do the same study, for increased compression? S&S looks almost as good as Woods and Andrews here, I’m wondering if the same holds true for one of your big bore kits?

While there are currently no plans for additional TC 103” testing we however have 2 decades of test data for those looking for information and we continue to build engines and further develop our engine program every day. We still do a ton of Twin Cams

Why is there a large dip in the torque between 2100 and 2800 on the Wood 777 cam?

Stock compression, Late intake closing, etc. Those cams are meant for more compression. But, if you really want a better understanding of how cams work, read this until you understand it.:

This is an effect of the exhaust/cam relationship, you can see this in the other runs as well; some better some worse. Typically you cannot feel this seat of the pants in most applications.

My question about the 777 cams is because I want to do cams now on my stage 1 103 and a 107 or 110 with level B heads next winter. I don't want it to be way "over camed" until I do the big bore kit.

How about saving your powder until you can do the whole job in one hit, instead of a bit at a time? Jus' a thought!
