Bad design of the instrument indicators RK2017
the problem is that the plastic housing is eroding and punches a hole between R9 and C4 in the electronic board of the indicators, cutting the circuit to the High Beam and Left turn signal LEDs on the dash. I slightly removed the blue paint to expose and soldered connecting back the copper circuit to fix the issue.
Even if you buy a new one if it has the same design I have no doubts it will fail again due to vibrations. Blue dust is visible on the plastic housing where it touches the board.
I’ll place some form of thin insulator over that area to prevent another erosion of the PCB. And keep €120 for beer.
