Was leaning towards buying an '07 Deluxe but after closer review, decided it just doesn't fit - + I've always been a bagger guy. Dealer has 2 '07 EGC's, red/pearl that he'll sell at MSRP with a $2K gift card. I'm not interested in bling at this point - been there, done that with 2 previous RK's and an Ultra. Bike has no security system but I'm not sure of the true value. Gotta have CC. Considering Rinehart true duals, a Stage I, maybe an SERT.
What would ya'll do?

I'd go with the EGC. $2000 should just about cover your CC, security system, & engine/exhaust mods...

 

What he said, if you like the EGClassic, 2k will probably cover the essentials. I would have liked to have had the 2k deal when I bought my Ultra! I couldn't wait until the deals started coming...but did get MSRP with no freight, dealer prep etc. back in April. 2K is about what I spent: Premium Tour Pack, Adj. Driver's Backrest, Lid protectors, Saddlebag guards, Stage 1 ECM, KN Air Filter, SE Slip Ons, -- you get the picture, mostly just esentials to get the bike the way I wanted it for touring. Any bling can come at Labor Day 25% off sale, if I add any at all. Good luck!
