I just ordered an AE from Cycle gear, the 180/55/18 is hard to find so have one coming to have ready when needed. they go fast.

Yep, the 2 I have on there now came from DK. I ordered in May, got the rear in 3 weeks, front took over 2 months. Ordered another rear in August...just waiting, now.

I liked the American Elites.... good grip.... but I wore out the rear tire after 9k.I was back to the 2 rears per one front tire.
I switched to the new Metzler888 touring tires....but it's only bee 5,000 miles in 3.5 months.... so far they look a lot better than the A/E.
