So as I have informed already.
some parts have just arrived to the garage.
up graded breathers with nice short bolts - this shall make the job easier.
I will also replace both of the rocker box sealings - from what I have heard, the original HD ones are working very well and pricewise they are same as the aftermarket ones.
so there will be more to come within 4 months more or less... just waiting for a good weather

The first time I upgraded the old breathers to the new stamped breathers, I remember thinking, "If just for the shorter screws, this upgrade is worth it!"

You got this whole cam tensioner upgrade dialed in..... now you can help all your friends do it...

Basically the same cam chest except:

They use the bigger inner cam bearings (B-168), they have the cam plate with a bushing (no roller bearings), and they come OEM with the hydraulic tensioners and roller chains.... so no need to upgrade the tensioners/chains...

However..... I've been inside the cam chest on one 96" and two 103" Twin Cams to upgrade to better cams.... That's always fun.....

Thank you very much for the hint.
When it comes to open up the cam chest I will double check if my puller for inner cam bearings will work as well...for the time being we will leave it as it is...

Just coming back to this subject
Finally the weather is better here, and I took out the bike for a spin.
there was no oil coming out from the inside of the cylinder heads. Looks nice and clean there.
I took it to my garage and cleaned it up very carefully. will have to observe it more. if it will be dry I will most probably not take out the rocker boxes.
if it works... it works.

Something to add on top.
sealing of the breathers with high temp silicone was a good idea.
No harm done . But stuff is disassembled
bottom rocker covers taken off.
sealings will be replaced.
New breathers installed
