Default solo seat

Im looking to get a solo seat for 09 SG. I dont know much about aftermarket seats I want something that puts me in the bike and a has lower back support but doesnt move me forward any. Id like to run my backrest with it. There are scuffs and scratches on fender from where the stock seat passenger pad rubbed so probably going to need a bib. Any recommendations would be helpful

Checkout Ultimate seats, not many people run them but those that do speak very highly of them

My buddy could only do 50 miles on his sportster and had to stop due to a bad back. He then brought a Road King and was looking for a seat so he could put the miles down. I had read up on Ultimate seats and suggested he gave them a try, I believe you can test them for 14 days and if you don't like it you can return it for a full refund. Anyway he got a single seat with a nice built in rider backrest and never looked back, his longest ride so far is 350 miles in a day and commented he could have gone further .

I ride the Harley Brawler as it is very tight to the frame. Almost no padding and puts me way back but since I am 6'5" it is what I was looking for.
Not sure you will find one that puts you in the bike and still allows a backrest. Any that I have seen that have back support have so much padding that they do not put you in the bike.

I just ordered one of their Freedom series sets. Should have it tomorrow or Monday. They hooked me up fast as typically its at least a couple months wait.

I have a freedom on order too and Alias called me to offer me an orange stitch one right away but I prefer waiting for the grey I ordered and there is no rush for me since up here the riding season will not start much before end of March

This is what I have on my SG. Love it. They will let you try it and return free if you do not like it. They have lots of fender bibs. Click the link.

I have a Danny Gray Airhawk with backrest I would sell for a decent price if interested. As far as a fender bib you can't beat the quality of Captain Itch.
