lowering a '03 EG Standard
I have been looking at lowering my bike and I want to make sure that I get the correct lowering kit. I want to go as low as I can without causing any major issues. I am thinking the adjustable lowering kit by R.U.B. might be the cheapest and best route to go. I would like to set it at about 1.5".
Anybody have any input or ideas on better way to achieve the lowering without dropping a ton of money?
Any ideas would be appreciated!

There are several ways to go, justkeep in mind, the lower you go the more your cornering is affected. I was surprised by how much of a difference lowering my '05 EGC 1 inch made when riding 2-up.

My '07 is lowered, front and rear with moco parts (1")... I don't drag on flat corners (riding hard).. however cornering on inverted (uphill) sections, I will scrapsomething very loud.. Still haven't found what the source is... Seems to be on the right side more then the left. If you go too low, everyone will be leaving you behind in the twisties.
So, you think that 1" would be a good idea?
I also forgot to mention that I am just thinking about lowering the rear and not the front, will this cause any other issues?

My 03' Road King was lowered 1" in the rear when I got it. They had the HD lowering air shocks put on it. I'm 5'7" and I flat foot it great and feel much more confident on it than I did on my Dyna that was Stock. It rides great solo, 2 up and we still bottom out on a real big bump butthe cornering seems good, haven't scrapped yet. Don't think I'd go lower than 1". They say the lower you go the more you loose in ride and cornering. Good luck and I like your'e bike.
My '01 was lowered originallywith the White Bros kit and MOCO front lowering kit. Later I switched to lower progressive shock. 1" front and back. When I bought my 07 Ultra, I went with the Reach seat and this winter will have the stock seat redone by MeanCity Cycles. I was never happy with the stiffer ride or the scraping on corners as I travel with a couple of BMW riders quite often and got tired of the affect on cornering.
