Default 2008 FLHX swingarm pivot shaft

What is the tolerance for the pivot shaft in the transmission? And swingarm? Not together, one at a time.

Should the shaft be tight? I can wiggle the shaft very little as in a few 1000s. Normal?

Anyone know the measurements of the shaft? And bores?

I’ve an 04, and there are no specifications in my factory manual for those values.

I can tell you the shaft and transmission case has to have some clearance to easily fit, and most crucially, to get the belt sprockets into alignment.

The swing arm should have as minimal a clearance as possible, to prevent the swing arm from deflecting, which turns the rear wheel. This play is often hidden by belt tension.
