I orders the Woods 22XD cam, lifters, push rods etc, 55mm intake with 5.5 injectors along with the Fuel Moto 2 1/2 exhaust for the factory heat shields. Hopefully it will pick up some power and not be quiet as lazy!

True.
I still may end up replacing the 15 year old inner fairing one day to freshen up the bike when I get the outer faring repainted.

When I was planning my rebuild, I considered pre-painted and even a carbon fiber-patterned inner fairing, but I ultimately ended up getting it painted to match.
Best decision I made as it really makes the blue POP.

Not sure how best to go about color matching one on a two-tone bike though... that would surely make me scratch my head for a while.

Either way you go, it's probably $1,000 more than you want to spend.

Probably Black. It's black now. Red, maybe but I'm leaning towards black.

Less than an hour ago I put the new battery on the batter tender, it is all ready in maintenance mode (Solid Green Light). It must have been fully charged when it was shipped.
I'll install it this weekend.

Made this little piece for the scoot, I think this should be good for few extra ponies.

Need to polish it up a little, slap a cool sticker on it, you know like all the cool kids.

Well I'll be tickled by a two headed billy goat! I never realized your battery was outside the bike until just now. Your bike is so cool. Every time I see it I notice something new.

Well, As promised I installed my new Big Crank Battery. Only one problem came up. The strap broke to pull out the old battery.
No worries mate. Put the bolts back in and used a towel to insulate the positive terminal, so I wouldn't defibrillate myself and pulled it out by the bolts.
Of course there was some cleaning that needed to be done. Still can't get over the $40 increase for the same battery in 7 years.
Went for a test ride and it cranks right up. Next is an Oil Filter relocation installation.
