Default passenger floorboard mounts

so ive got the hd 360 adjustable passenger floorboard mounts on my bike. over the winter the chrome on the section that bolts to the frame started peeling on one of them, cant have that. im looking at having the few chrome parts rechromed or just buying a pair of the rivco mounts that accomplish the same thing for like 400$. i would expect it to probably cost the same to rechrome the hd mounts. id appreciate opinions on which direction to go with this. how well does rivco chrome hold up? i did read one review saying the pins on the rivco mounts had bent under weight. i think the rivco mounts are nice in that they can be adjusted without tools, but if it sacrifices durability, that may not be the way to go. id imagine the hd p&a ones are probably made in the same chinese factory as the wish.com ones, but theyve been pretty decent until the peeling chrome thing.

thanks in advance!

I love my Rivco adjustable passenger floorboards. Mine are 12 years old and still look good. Some pitting from riding on salty roads.

ever any issues with the pins bending? one reviewer said they had bent several pins and at 5ft11 my wifes not the lightest passenger so its a concern.

I’d vote for option 3 on the poll but didn’t see it…..trade the bike for a ‘24 with the blacked out feature and powder coat the 360 mounts!

I have the Rivco mounts as well. The wife really likes them. No problems with them. Had them for 7 years.
