Oil Pressure Sensor?

Oil Pressure Sensor?
Just got back from a long road trip yesterday on my 2017 FLHTK. Has about 32K Miles. Midway through the trip, my oil light came on at startup. I immediately checked the oil. It was fine. Light would then go off, sometimes after I restarted the engine several times. When it was on, the message screen said 'Check Oil". When it was off, the screen said "Oil OK". This happened about eight times over the course of about four days. While I was pretty confident I didn't have an oil leak, I was also pretty paranoid, being in the boonies for so long at a time. I must've checked the oil a dozen times. Probably lost more from wiping the stick, than I burned on the trip.
I had a service with an oil change a couple of weeks before, and rode the bike before the trip to make sure everything was fine. Also, had no problems the first 1500 miles of the trip.
I checked the Diagnostic codes and got P0522 and P0523 which is Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Low/High.
How big of a deal is this to fix? It happened to me right after I bought it new in 2017, so it was covered.
Ironically, my extended warranty ran out while I was on the trip. Karma, I suppose.

Oil pressure sender 74438-99A about $30-40 depending on where you get them. Lower price there is from Surdyke.
Sender torque 94-144 in/lb. If reusing sender, apply LOCTITE 565 THREAD SEALANT to threads.
It's pretty tight in there but you can get the job done without removing anything else. You will need a 1-1/6 open ended wrench.
cheers

Ok, tell us the reason.
Adding an oil pressure gauge doesn`t eliminate the need for an electrical unit on the engine, unless you install a direct reading gauge on the engine (which is pretty much useless anyway).
Thy have been using oil pressure warning lights on Harleys for many decades.
Never do away with an oil pressure warning light, it may call your attention to a problem.
And how often will you look at that dark oil pressure gauge at night?

I stated my opinion and have no intention of getting into a pissing match with you or anyone else about it.
Good Day.
ETA. I have both the idiot light and a gauge on mine.
