Iron Butt Rally
Don't know if any of you were following the Iron Butt Rally last week but a harley sportster got a third place ridden Brett Donahue for 11,283 miles in the 11 days of the rally. Don't know who he is but he definately earned my respect. I think it is the highest finishing HD since the beginning of the Rally in 85. There was also a a 1972 electraglide that did'nt finish because his rear wheel broke. Here is a link to the finishers:

RE: Iron Butt Rally
I have respect for everyone that participated in this year IBR.
Reading the daily logs and the riders tribulations was quite entertaining. I was particularly impressed by the two who went for the Watson Lake, YT and Homer Alaska bonus points. We had a week of outstanding weather when they went though here so I was hoping at least one of them would make it back to St. Louis on time.
