was at the dealer today as of right now no download available for the 08. harley has told them to do no modifications other than SE slip on until the SERT becomes available. now there saying early-mid october for the SERT to be released. for the time being I putting on the B&E superflows (was told no reconfig needed) just to get a better sound just waiting for them to show up in the mail.

I just put a set of B&E's on last week and I'm much more than thrilled a few hundred miles later.

If it means anything, my buddy (06 RK) likes the sound of my B&E's more than his Rinehart's.

I put V&H Big Shot True Duals on my 2008 Street Glide. Did the H-D download and will go with the PCIII when they are available in late November.
I went with the V&H because EVERYONE has Rineharts (I had them on my last two RK's) and the V&H looks much better and sounds a lot better. Look them up at the V&H site.

I just did the 2008 Factory Download on my 2008 SG on Wednesday. Your dealer doesn't know what he is talking about.

I have Rinehart slip-ons and unfortunately experienced the quality problems that have been discussed on this forum. Their customer service (or lack thereof) didn't help the situation either. If I had it to do over again, I would go with the V&Hs. Great sound and great quality too!

Hey shizzle, cute screen name. Hope you aren't putting them Rineharts on, i won't ride with ya anymore. Can't have two guys with the same pipes. Oh, we might have two guys with the same bike..or not. Heard that sunglow red turns pink as the rinehart tips turn purple. gonna look real cool.
Shizzle,
Hope you know I'm just mess'n with ya. Saw that bike in suglow red at steel city harley and it looks awesome. That is probably the best color from hd in a while. Can't wait till you get it. And like I said, I'll help you put your exhaust on. I'm getting prettyquick at it.

My dealer highly recommends Bassanni's. I've heard them at bike nite and they are terrific. The only hesitation is the Hog tail loop on the right side of the bike for the rear cyclinder. I know it's there for balancing the true duals. I really liked the 2 into 1 V&H I had on my 06 too. I'm really on the fence on this one. My buddy has Kerker slip ons and holy cow they sound great.
