Heated Hand Grips

RE: Heated Hand Grips
You will definately hear both sides on this one. I've heard others complain that they burned out in 2 month. This will be the third season for mine. ( had them on Saturday when it got down to 52 degrees... they felt good). Some say that it only warms the inside of the hand, that the wind still freezes the knuckles, and that the only way to keep warm is with gloves. Well... I have them on my Ultra... no problem... My hands feel warm. Some will say the fairing is blocking the wind. OK.. I put them on the wife's Deluxe.. no fairing... no problem.
Don't know if any of this helps... but personally, I'd at least TRY the grips.
I ride down into the teens. When it's in the 40's and 50's, I wear a midweight leather jacket. When it's in the 30's and below, I wear the heavy leather. I don't want to have to rewire the jacket based on the temp, and what I'm wearing that day.
