What brand/type spark plug do you use? I've been reading about platinum/iridium plugsvs standard plugs. Are they that good or is it just b/s? What do you think ?
IMO plat/irid plugs are only better for longer life of the plug, not performance gains. As simple as it is to change plugs in our scoots, it is just not worth the expense.

Believe it or not some of the ECM's now days measure the resistance/volts of the spark plug/wire and can tell the difference. As cheap as the standard plugs are why change.
Master mechanic at our dealership will only use stock plugs - other plugs make trouble - even HD's own premium plugs have made problems. Might be fun to experiment though.
I've ridden a few Panheads, lots of Shovels, tons of EVO's, and few Twin Cams......I've found no difference between sparkplugs or even brands for that matter.
I recommend either the standard OEM plug or a cross-reference plug. If the cross-referenced plug is identical to the OEM plug....then it is fine to use. The OEM plug is manufactured by Champion for those that don't know.
A spark plug does nothing other than create the spark that is needed for combustion.
