Default Ultra Custom Paint

My 05 Ultra is Lava Red over Black. I hit a deer in July and damaged the tank and Front fairing. I'm getting ready to pull the fairing and tank. My plan is to have them redone as OEM but also paint the inner fairing Lava Red and then add some chrome bezels.

I wondering if instead of sticking with the OEM, I had a pro air brush cool graphics on the front fairing and maybe elsewhere, would that have a negative effect on the resale. Of course I realize that depending on the graphic, there would be some that would like it and some not

I kind of think that an Ultra Classic should stay traditional to maintain it's value. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

I really don't think so usually people buy a bike because that like it. Remember your bike is the expression of the owner.

I like it just the way it is. Of course, I might be a little biased.

Let me ask this... Did you buy the bike to enjoy it or as an investment? Answer that and you will have your answer

First, I never consider resale value because I'm never selling my Dyna Second, if you custom paint it, instead of the 10 people who will be willing to pay your asking price, you may limit yourself to only four........ You only need one. My.02

Aftermarket paint can command much more $$$$ than stock, and be highly desirable, if done properly...

JF,
Awesome paint job man. Love the way the air cleaner lines flow with the lower lines of the tank. Well done.
