I wouldn't buy it.

 

I had not seen or heard of this jacket technology; looks as though it might help to minimize cervical spine injuries resulting in quadraplegia; the lumbar spine is the most susceptible to injury (extreme flexion) during a rapid deceleration as occurrs with impact; a compression fracture of the 1st lumbar vertebra occurrs. No, I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express, but I do have first hand experience with this kind of injury. The Impact Jacket would appear to do little to minimizethat kind of movement. Encouraged to see that innovators are trying to engineer devices to help protect us. The cost of The Impact Jacket is similar to a Harley Davidson FXRG jacket. Thanks for the information.

Now that's cool. I just can't figure out how they come up with the 140 mph impact story; it doesn't make sense!!
