07 FLH......hard to explain guys but ever since i installed a S/E air filter...when i hit the kill switch i hear a ..."chirp'.....lol kinda like a bird...or someone is behind me a does a quick whistle...tell me i aint losin my mind here!!!

Did you install a smart siren II at the same time as the air filter??? Mine chirps once when it disarms.

Mine does the same thing. I have no reason to think it's anything that needs to be looked at.

I have on 07 Ultra and mine does that too. It sort of has a little bird chirp that says "That's all folks"

I've asked about that before on here too...my bone stock Road King does it occasionaly. Best explanation I got was that it was air exiting from an unfired cylinder after the bike is turned off and before the motor stops moving.

My K&N airbox allows that sound out, too, at shutdown. Not every time, but more often than not. I wouldn't call it a chirp so much as a whistle. Not sure, but I figure it's something like the IAC opening and bleeding vacuum.

i have a 06&07 street glide they both do the same noise almost like a vacumn leak when you shut it off . i also had a 06 streetglide that was carburated & it did not do it has to be a fuel injected isc motor like glens said anyway im sure its normal never been a problem .jeff
