Use it all the time. Back forty with 4 bottom plow! Cant handle the chiesel plow though. Save that for the JD4400

Shift into 6th at about 65 mph. Do not run in 6th much under 65 mph. Over 65 mph it runs out nice.

Sixth gear is great over 60 steady speed, but I usually accelerate to 70+ before shifting into sixth. With IDS, it seems to do just fine at 2000 rpm and above.

AND, in sixth gear you get less piston travel per mile, so less wear on the engine. Should last even longer.

I use 6th anytime I'm doing 60 or better. It handles it quite well for me. No rattling, lugging or anything.

I'm in it all the time at 2000 RPM or better - 50-55 MPH. Feels just fine. No lugging, rattling, or carrying on.

Hey, I need to mention something that hasn't been mentioned.
Before I installed HD's IDS on my '07 Street Glide, 6th wasn't worth bean's, wouldn't go there until I was well over 70. Since the install of the IDS I can cruse in 6th at a nice 65 and everything feel's great. Needed to mention it, later, Putt

Hey Man, your bikes on fire. Wow that is an awesome paint job. Did Lavalle do it?
