Sixth gear is great over 60 steady speed, but I usually accelerate to 70+ before shifting into sixth.With IDS, it seems to do just fine at 2000 rpm and above.
AND, in sixth gear you get less piston travel per mile, so less wear on the engine. Should last even longer.

Before I installed HD's IDS on my '07 Street Glide, 6th wasn't worth bean's, wouldn't go there until I was well over 70. Since the install of the IDS I can cruse in 6th at a nice 65 and everything feel's great. Needed to mention it, later, Putt
