IDS has smoothed things out so much I have to be careful not to lug it. I usually go into 6th anytime I am over 65mph unless I need a lot of power.

I use it all the time in the 65 mph range. I could not do it comfortably prior to stage one. But now it purrs at that speed in 6th and has plenty of get-up-and-go if I turn the wick up.

As soon as I hit an interstate 65mph I'm in 6th. Solo or two up makes no difference. Running about 2200 - 2300rpms and no, I'm not lugging the engine.

Although the interstate is close, most of my riding is in 5th gear because I'm using "back roads.". I just don't hit high enough speed to warrant 6th. Even when I'm on the freeway, its seldom runs fast enough (for a long enough period) to warrant dropping into 6th.

Since I installed a stage 1 with SERT sixth gear is a lot smoother at 65 mph . I can set my cruise and she runs good. Normally I use 6th at 70 plus just so I can stay in the higher power bands.

70 in 5th is fine. 6th for 75+. 6th really shines at 85.

70 and beyond in 6th

Same here. Sweet spot for 5th is 68 mph, for 6th 78-80 mph.

When I'm on the slab I roll 6th gear a lot. Anything over 65 mph if I'm not pulling a lot of hills its taching about 2500 at 65.
