Completly agree w/ grinner..........pc III , exhaust & A/C...........6th gear at 60 MPH...........no engine lugging, no problem.

Prior to the above (stock) didn't grab 6th until atleast 70 MPH & 2500 rpm...........

With IDS and PCIII it runs good in 6th, but I just don't ride the roads that allow you to run much over 60 so I don't use it much.

Shift into 6th @ 65 MPH.

2 up, 6th gear, all the way over Snoqualmie Pass, cruise set at 70, laid back and went to sleep LOL bike took me home

i have noticed after i installed the IDS i use 6th gear a lot more now. sometimes i feel like it could take a 7th gear at 70 plus

I don't see why it wouldn't work the same as it does on the alloys. I use 6th anytime I'm over about 65. 70+ is perfect.
