Anyone have the torque specs for a 2000 FLHT?
6mm Allen Screws on the lower shock legs (in the bottom end)
Fork Tube Cap - Top of actual tube
1-3/8" Top Cap (on top of triple tree)

6mm--132-216 in-lbs.
Fork tube plug--22-58 ft. lbs.
Fork cap bolt--50-60 ft. lbs.
Pinch bolt--30-35 ft. lbs.

These numbers are from my '04 HD Touring Models Service Manual--best 48 bucks I spent.

I have a 2000 Service manual, and it only had pinch bolts @ 40 ft.lbs. and drain screw 75-90 in. lbs. No other torque valuesfor the forks.

I also notice there is a big difference in values between the two service manuals.

I too noticed no tq given for 2001 cap. It was in tight. When changing oil I ended up removing to dump fork oil in quicker and use a funnel

There might be a difference in years since 2001 has air front suspension
