I will post reviews and pics as soon as I get it in and on, I like most of you am skeptical about the 8 inch being enough being so tall, but I was sold one his word. So we will see.

Been waiting 2 months for my Clearview for my RG. I am tempted to cancel and order this one. That Clearview shield better be kickass or I'm gonna be pissed. T.

Ultrasweet I love my clearview.... But this wind shield just looks good, finally a sleek looking shield that is supposed to work too! I can hope anyway I went with the 12" because looking at the pictures I just thought it looked better [8D] Should look really good in the Solo setup on the Road Glide or the Solo chopped tour pack off e-bay with the duck tail spoiler ( 69 camaro style )Hell should just look good [sm=happybounce.gif]

Yeah, my stock shield beats me to death. I am 6'1". The wind hits me right at the eyeballs. Sometimes it blows my glasses off. I don't mind the wind but some days it wears me out. If I read some good reports on this shield I will be gettin one. T.

I agree Gil... I am leaning towards the 12" myself. More so for keeping the debris off the better half and hoping it'll drown out a bit of wind noise so she can hear tunes a bit better.

I've been following this thread fairly close now.

I think I'm pretty sold on the 8" black.
If it works any were near as good as it looks I'll be pretty happy.

A few of the questions that have gone un answered are the noise levels and pricing.

Did I hear someone here could get it at a better price? If so could you contact me?

The noise factor was another important question.
As I'm sure most of you know. The stock HD shield creates a buffering around the head the beats your ear drums at 55++++ mph

I have a clearview now and its an improvement but I'm hoping this is better.

My other question is. If your sitting in an air pocket behind the 8" shield I assume the bugs would (for the most part, not all of them of course) would blow around that pocket.

Anyway. If anyone has the answers I'd appreciate them.

Thanks
Eddy
